Being Grateful

One of the key skills you will learn on this course is bringing gratitude into your lives daily. This can be as simple as thinking of three things to be grateful for at bedtime each day. I have done this for many years and it helps us feel so much more positive everyday. Being grateful everyday brings more happiness into your life and the lives of the people around you. Two psychologists, Dr. Robert A. Emmons and Dr. Michael E. McCullough found that after a 10 week study, those who wrote about gratitude were more optimistic and felt better about their lives.

Happy Mind Collective was founded by Jen and Simon Hoe and has grown into a team that have a wealth of experience in the areas of wellness and mindfulness. Jen has been practicing mindfulness for the past 20 years and teaching in this area for the past 5. In her previous life she worked in Finance for a large Blue-Chip multinational for 10 years “Seeing the benefits of mindfulness first-hand gave us the inspiration to make it accessible to more people” The journey began teaching kids yoga and mindfulness then later moving on to teaching teachers and parents to bring yoga and mindfulness into classrooms and homes. This naturally led onto bringing mindfulness to adults and businesses, helping people to find a sense of calm in their daily lives. Our aim is to bring mindfulness to as many people as we can and to let others enjoy the benefits that these simple techniques can bring.
